500 g ground beef
300 g cauliflower
1 egg
Pinch of basil
2 stems fresh basil
a pinch of pepper
a pinch of salt
Chop the cauliflower in a food processor/blender or finely grate it so that the pieces resemble rice.
Mix it with the ground meat and add in one egg, incorporate well.
Mix all the spices together, then add to the meat
Take the prepared mass with a spoon and make meatballs from it.
Arrange them in a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees or in a pan on the stovetop for ~ 15 minutes until golden.
These will taste great in soups, wraps, with pasta and anywhere else you would use meatballs.
